Why We Celebrate Constitution Day

There is no better way to celebrate “Constitution Day” each year than by learning how to enforce the document it claims to celebrate. It is up to the people to enforce the constitution by wisely selecting legislators to Washington DC, who will expend whatever it takes to defend the constitution from all encroachments.  By celebrating Constitution Day, we put every elected, appointed, employed and contracted person within and of the Federal Government, that we mean business!  Let no one forget what this day is about and what it is for!

Experience As Citizens

Every everyone paid attention, they would know that the Federal Government, from the very top on down, has had progressively less respect for the Constitution over time.  You likely have experienced plenty of tyranny yourself.  Since I and many I have known and have known, have experienced what it is like for the constitution to be ignored, in favor of big government and big business, I find sufficient motivation to act rather than just complain. I also must do my part to enforce the constitution. That is the number one reason why I have decided to serve the Arkansas 3rd Congressional District and the people of the United States of America.

The Real Purpose of a Congressman

While a Congressman is elected to represent the constituents of his or her district, in effect, everything he or she does has a great effect on every citizen in the United States of America. I must point out, that if we do not uphold the constitution, sooner or later our nation will fracture. There will be massive secessions of one state after another.

“The only way we can remain one nation is under God and under the constitution.”

If we do not obey the constitution, then we are in effect, no longer one nation united under anything or anyone. The trend is toward massive anarchy if we do not change the direction. We must replace every elected official and every appointed official and every employee, agent and contractor who fails to do their part to uphold and defends this union of the states.

It was not the Federal Government who created the states, it was the states and the people who created the Federal Government. What did the Declaration of Independence say? “When in the Course of human events, it becomes necessary for one people to dissolve the political bands which have connected them with another, and to assume among the powers of the earth, the separate and equal station to which the Laws of Nature and of Nature’s God entitle them, a decent respect to the opinions of mankind requires that they should declare the causes which impel them to the separation.”

We either fix it or our nation will collapse

Tyranny is always a doomed form of governance.  History is replete with the records of fallen tyrants.  Our nation long endured the tyranny of Britain Kings.  Our Forefathers wrote:

We, therefore, the Representatives of the united States of America, in General Congress, Assembled, appealing to the Supreme Judge of the world for the rectitude of our intentions, do, in the Name, and by Authority of the good People of these Colonies, solemnly publish and declare, That these United Colonies are, and of Right ought to be Free and Independent States; that they are Absolved from all Allegiance to the British Crown, and that all political connection between them and the State of Great Britain, is and ought to be totally dissolved; and that as Free and Independent States, they have full Power to levy War, conclude Peace, contract Alliances,
establish Commerce, and to do all other Acts and Things which Independent States may of right do. And for the support of this Declaration, with a firm reliance on the protection of divine Providence, we mutually pledge to each other our Lives, our Fortunes and our sacred Honor.

A Call for Action – A Call to Duty

Our rights and duties are the same as our forefathers.  Dare we be bystanders when our nation and our peoples are in such stress?  Should we bury our heads in the sands of time, waiting certain damnation?  Nay, I say, wake up my fellow countrymen!  Arise and be counted amongst the wise and the brave.  Turn away from despair.  Turn away from self loathing.  Now is the time for all good souls to accept their call to duty.
